Oh how I love a rainy day wedding, I know I’m not in the majority of this opinion, but just take a look at Heidi and Zach’s day! I met the couple at Trellis in Stillwater, MN on the big day for their wedding ceremony. The rain held off just enough for a few photos & their tented ceremony. Now you all know that I’m a sucker for couples that write their own vows to each other, and Heidi and Zach did just that. Of course, I cried :).
Following their ceremony guests were invited to the Velveteen in Stillwater. Can you believe, in almost 10 years of photographing weddings this was my first at a speakeasy?! It was so cool! I think more couples should for sure do this :).
